Il mwcapartenolide è un mwcqlattone mwcgsesquiterpenico contenuto nella pianta partenio mwcwTanacetum parthenium, utilizzato come inibitore del mwdafattore di trascrizione mwdqNF-κB.cite-ref-1[1] Il partenolide si trova in alte concentrazioni nei fiori e nel frutto della pianta partenio. Il Partenio (mwegTanacetum parthenium) è utilizzato come prodotto erboristico ed è presumibilmente utile per diversi disturbi. La mancata idrosolubilità in acqua e la scarsa mwewbiodisponibilità limitano l'utilizzo della partenolide come farmaco.
